Black Mirror Inspired Metaverse TV Channel & Format
Dream Channel is uses AI and Metaverse to deliver an interactive format where audiences are rewarded for engagement. Dream Channel TV is a Metaverse TV Channel that pays audiences in AI DREAMS tokens for every second of eye gaze it receives. Audiences can then use those tokens to vote on the direction of the story, bet on outcomes and join the story themselves by creating an AI Generative character. Dream Channel TV broadcasts the linear narrative series as well as story threads generated by its user generated characters. Dream Channel TV is a multi channel entertainment network with 25 sub channels - each one run by an AI Tribe, and sitting inside a floating city surrounded by its stars living in Amsterdam style 'TV windows' - doorways to their own story threads.
The series if divided into 25 Chapters, each one hosted by a different tribe, and where the top 32 ranked tribe characters (ranked by an attention algorithm) are the stars of the episode, fighting it out to be number 1.

Log Line : Gangsters buy & sell AI dreams on the black market
Premise : Every dream has its price
Short Synopsis : Lucy wakes up one morning to discover that her dreams have been stolen by her AI Gangsters and are trending on The Dream Channel.
Pilot (Completed)
When The Lucydia Corporation began distributing the lucid dreaming elixir 'Dice' through the nightclubs of LA as a recovery sleep drug, clubbers discovered they could return to the same dream and continue its story. Creating a bank of subconscious stories, they soon realized they could access and even feature in each other’s dreams. Lucid dreaming stars quickly emerged, and The Dream Channel was born.
Looking for ways to monetize and control Dream Channel, The Lucydia Corporation launched a Big Brother-style game show on TV, where lucid dreamers participated as couples, tasked with uploading unique, high-rating dreams to Dream Channel. Audiences, after taking 'Dice,' would dive into these dreams, rewarding the dreamers with Dream Coin for the amount of time they remained immersed. The highest earners were declared the winners.
The show took a dark turn when a lucid dreamer named Lucy revealed a game-changing dream she had been secretly incubating: a deathmatch 'Dream Battle Royale.' In her dream, death in the dream led to a coma in real life, with the victim's body powering the dream and ownership of the dream — and its audience — passing to the killer. Recognizing the dream's power, Lucy became reluctant to re-enter it and continue the story.
However, The Lucydia Corporation, conspiring with Lucy's boyfriend to steal her dream, blackmailed her into rejoining the dream as a contestant to win her freedom back. This led to the birth of 'The Dream Battle Royale,' which expanded into a competition between 26 dream 'tribes,' all vying for a winners' pool of 'Dice,' allocated to the winning tribe for distribution through nightclubs in LA and globally."

Dream Channel's pilot episode is the seed that sets up the entire series as well as presenting the concept of AI.TV., its economy and the Battle Royale format that drives it.
'Lucy' wakes up on morning to discover that her dream - about a dream Battle Royale - has been stolen by her boyfriend and sold to The Dream Channel . She must access the Channel, become a contestant in her own game and win her dream world back. In the VR version of the story audiences play the protagonist

Dream Channel VR opened the Cannes Film Festival VR Cinema in 2017, and won an award at the Cannes Film Festival for best 'Transmedia' format n 2014. It then went on to open the Cannes Film Festival 'VR Cinema' at Cannes in 2019 with its next iteration- its VR feature film.
Series 2 - The Battle Royale's & The Feature Film
Series 2 begins with the arrival of The Riot Kittens - an AI gang modelled on lucid dreaming star Lucy, vying to control The Dream Channel. This also marks the advent of The Battle Royale format allowing audiences to determine the protagonist of each episode, and the beginning of audiences being able to use AI to generate their own characters generating story threads.
How Does it Work ?
The Dream Channel movie is 'transmedia' in that it moves forward on more than three platform at the same time- on-line, mobile AR and VR. Dream Channel broadcasts its episodes on all three platforms, with each one providing audiences a different way to interact.
Using a simple mobile app, users give birth to an AI alter ego that ventures into a game world dating, mating and procreating, in effort to earn AIDREAMS from the attention it generates. Users wake up each morning and receive a highlights video of its unique story threads, crossing paths with other avatars, which users can choose to follow up. The AIs need AIDREAMS as energy to keep accessing the Channel . At the same time audiences can simply watch the linear narrative episode on Dream Channel TV, earning AI DREAMS tokens for engagement.
Dream Channel is now transformed from a traditional linear series now into an audience driven series with multiple interwoven story lines, inside an immersive & persistent world where the characters live. The highest rating audience driven characters now become the stars of each chapter
Battle Royale Format
The highest rating show on Dream Channel TV is ‘LUCYDIA’ - a Battle Royale where jilted lovers, sports rivals, cheaters, women scorned and jealous ex boyfriends are pitted against each other in a fight to the death. The highest rating characters in each hosting tribe are selected to take part, with the most popular winning the role of protagonist of the next episode.
To access the Channel the Riot Kittens discover that a weakness in the Dream Coin smart contact (the code that rules how the channel rewards works) exists, in the form a 'growth' pool - a pool of gaze aimed at rewarding dreamers for their dreams, They manage to take over the pool, burning it in order to create AI DREAMS, fully integrating it into the monetisation contract that pays dreamers for their dreams. This is transformed into the rewards pool for AI characters

Series 2. Episodes
As discussed each Dream Channel tribe takes turns in hosting The Battle Royale, starring the top 32 ranked contestants in their tribe, and where the audiences ultimately select the protagonist of the next episode .
Each episode is 47 minute drama episode and will distribute 47 x 60 seconds x 25 frames per second to allow more ownership of the series.

The Feature Film
Frames in The feature film will go on sale during Series 2, this will take place with the release of new digital security shares in Dream Frames Ltd The feature has been written and will be budgeted accordingly. The model for ownership and distribution of 'frames' will be as per the three token Dream Frames model
