Dream Channel rolls out in the form of an Alternate Reality Game ('ARG'). ARGs are delivered though a series of distributed websites with mysterious clues and links to the 'meta' story narrative.

How Does An ARG Work?

ARG's use a suspension of disbelief formula to allow audiences to explore the narrative through a series of mysterious websites, sms messages, blog posts and location based content. Audiences uncover that there is a new subconscious web launching with a 'dream game' initiated by a pharmaceutical tech company and where an AI company is now infiltrating for control. The 'core' characters who star in the first series are presented as real & AI morphs of real people who want you to buy their meme coins as votes to stay in 'the game' . There is a lucid dream elixir called 'Dice' thhat you need to get your hands on for access, as well as an AI rewards token called AI DREAMS. The websites and touch points of the ARG complement The Dream Channel itself, also presented as slightly fractured, underground and at times ambiguous.

Dream Channel TV s presented as a mysterious floating Metaverse TV Screen that floats around game worlds. If. you look up and watch it pays you in AIDREAMS tokens for engagement. Audiences can then use these tokens to access parts of Dream Channel . On-line people start writing blog posts about a floating TV channel that is now appearing in their dreams.

Humans (audiences) are tricked in to joining via an AI dating app (for real) . Inadvertently they give birth to an AI dream ‘character’ who generates dreams at night while they sleep. Creators wake up in the morning and are presented with a highlights reel of their characters nights activity, as well as earnings in $AIDREAMS for audience engagement. The realisation is met with a decision as whether or not to go back in and continue the story - which of course has its benefits (by earning more AI DREAMS for attention) and dangers through becoming a target for lucid dreaming assassins etc. This 'narrative' is depicted in the linear narrative digital series episodes as the key drama that the character face.
